ITENERARY

SUNDAY: ISTANBUL
Arrival in Istanbul, meeting and assistance and then transfer to your selected
hotel in Istanbul. Balance of the day at leisure.

MONDAY: ISTANBUL
Full day Istanbul sightseeing tour with lunch, including the Topkapi Palace
Museum, the blue Mosque, the Roman Hippodrome and the Grand Bazaar
(some monuments are closed in certain days, please consult your agent).

TUESDAY: ISTANBUL/ANKARA/CAPPADOCIA
Morning transfer to the airport for the flight to Ankara, arrival and transfer to
the city to visit the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations and the Mausoleum
of Kemal Ataturk. Lunch at noon. Continue to Cappadocia, dinner and
overnight.

WEDNESDAY: CAPPADOCIA
Full day tour of Cappadocia, visiting the natural Citadel of Uchisar and
the underground city of Kaymakli. After lunch, continue to the Valley of
Goreme & open air museum. The last sites will be the Pasabag Valley and
Avanos. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

THURSDAY: CAPPADOCIA/KONYA/PAMUKKALE
Early departure for Konya. On the way, visit the 13th century Seljukian Caravanserai
“Sultanhan”. Then on to Konya, which is famous for the Mevlana
Museum and the Theological School of Whirling Dervishes. Lunch en route
& drive on to Pamukkale. Dinner and overnight.

FRIDAY: PAMUKKALE/KUSADASI
Morning visit to the ancient city of Hierapolis, the ruins of the Necropolis
Graveyard, Roman Baths, Basilica and Calcium cliffs. Drive on to Aphrodisias.
After lunch, visit the Greco-Roman settlement, an ancient city
dedicated to the Goddess of Love, Aphrodite. Drive on to Kusadasi, dinner
and overnight.

SATURDAY: KUSADASI/IZMIR/ISTANBUL
Drive to Meryemana and visit the House of Virgin Mary. Continue to Ephessus,
the Roman Capital of Asia Minor. Visit the ruins of Odeon, Hercules
Gate, the Temple of Hadrian, the Library, the Agora and the unique Greco-
Roman Theatre. After lunch, visit the Basilica of St. John and then drive to
Izmir airport for the flight back to Istanbul. Arrival in Istanbul and transfer to
your selected hotel. Balance of the day at leisure.

SUNDAY: ISTANBUL / ATHENS
At the indicated time, you will be transferred to the airport for the flight
to Athens. Arrival & transfer to your selected hotel. Balance of the day at
leisure.

MONDAY: ATHENS
Morning sightseeing tour of Athens includes visit to the Acropolis and its
Museum. Balance of day at leisure

TUESDAY: ATHENS/OLYMPIA
Leave by the Coastal Road to the Corinth Canal (short stop). Drive on and
visit the Theatre of Epidaurus famous for its remarkable acoustics. Then
proceed to the Town of Nauplion (short stop) drive on to Mycenae and
visit the Archaeological Site and the Tomb of Agamemnon. Departure
for Olympia through Central Peloponnese and the Towns of Tripolis and
Megalopolis. Dinner and overnight in Olympia, the Cradle of the Olympic
Games.

WEDNESDAY: OLYMPIA/DELPHI
In the morning visit the Archaeological Site with the Sanctuary of Olympian
Zeus, the Ancient Stadium and the Archaeological Museum. Then drive on
through the plains of Eliad and Achaia until the magnificent bridge which
is crossing the Corinthian Bay from Rion to Antirion. Pass by the picturesque
Towns of Nafpactos (Lepanto) and Itea, arrive in Delphi. Dinner and
overnight.

THURSDAY: DELPHI/METEORA
Visit the Archaeological Site and the Museum of Dephi. Depart for Kalambaka,
a small Town situated at the foot of the astonishing complex of
Meteora, gigantic rocks. Dinner and overnight.

FRIDAY: METEORA/ATHENS
Visit Meteora, among striking scenery, perched on top of huge rocks which
seem to be suspended in mid-air, stand ageless Monasteries, where you
can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine Art. Return to Athens via Trikala,
Lamia, Thermopylae (visit the Leonida’s monument). Arrive in Athens early
in the evening.

SATURDAY: ATHENS-AEGINA/POROS/HYDRA
Morning transfer to the pier, Piraeus, to embark your cruise ship for your full
day cruise to the islands of Aegina-Poros-Hydra. Lunch on board and return
to Athens in the evening.

SUNDAY: ATHENS/AIRPORT
At the indicated time, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure
flight.
